Classic Princess Leia

I couldn't resist drawing Leia in her first appearance costume, complete with cinnamon bun hair! ^_^

All in all, I'm really pleased with how this turned out. It's radically different from my normal drawing style in which I use no photo references whatsoever. I'm trying to practice real human figures, hoping it will enhance my drawing.

I drew this picture freehand, no helping graphs or anything *lazy.* I used a picture of Leia out of "STAR WARS: The Visual Dictionary." It was so much fun, but so frustrating! X_X Trying to get every little detail of her face was tedious and I still didn't get them exactly right. I also suck at drawing blasters, so please be forgiving there.
